Good morning! I’ve been so excited about my September Birchbox and I’ve wanted to tell you guys all about it. Really amazing products that I’m surprised about. My favorites might have to be the Oribe body wash and body cream and/or the lemon rinse. Hell I even am obsessed with the eye makeup remover!

Beauty Nutrition Lemon Rinse, $10
This definitely looked cool at first glance, and it definitely even exceeded my expectations. It’s a “rinse” that you use in place of dry shampoo/shampoo, so on Tuesday I washed my hair normally and on Wednesday usually I wouldn’t wash my hair but I used the lemon rinse instead, and it’s nice! It really takes away product buildup and things like that and is a nice cleanse that doesn’t strip your hair of it’s natural oils. This is a revolutionary product for me since most dry shampoos do virtually nothing with my hair. Definitely a great find! My hair felt so…happy, healthy, natural.
Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub, $32.50
My first impression with this was that yes it looked very basic, but not in a bad way. It’s not a super fancy looking product but I own Derma E’s scar gel and even though the bottle is “boring” it works wonders. So all I know of this brand is from that one product I own so I wasn’t sure what to expect here. So first of all I have really sensitive skin and when I opened this up and saw how creamy it was, I thought it might work. But it hurt really badly, definitely not gentle enough for sensitive skin. Probably the least cool product from my box.
Klorane Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover with Soothing Cornflower, $16
I was excited to see that I got this in my box because I’ve really been needing a new eye makeup remover. This definitely impressed me, it took away my makeup so comfortably and I didn’t have to scrub at my eyes or use multiple cotton pads. I like it and I like how mild it is. I’m definitely getting a full size of this. I have really sensitive skin too but this product worked so gently!
Milk Makeup Ubame Mascara, $24
When I first saw this brush, I laughed. It’s three little bubbles of bristles but actually applies so nicely. It’s like a toned-down version with a little more definition of Better Than Sex by Too Faced. I actually really love! The formula is really nice, and it didn’t seem to crease or flake much but I do always use setting spray anyways.
Vera Bradley Fragrances Vanilla Sea Salt Eau de Toilette, $48 (+ Bonus Body Lotion)
I was really excited to see these samples because they looked so cute. Today I took a nice clean shower then put the little body cream on all over my body, then I dabbed a little bit of the fragrance on my neck and stuff. Honestly my skin feels so soft! Surprisingly great quality lotion, and I love the way it smells when you layer the two products. Now as for the scent itself, I wasn’t too big of a fan. It’s an interesting soft vanilla that somehow does smell “salty”, reminds me a lot about a summer beach day.
Oribe Cote d’Azur Replenishing Body Wash & Restorative Body Creme, $42-$65
Okay honestly I think this might’ve been the best find of the whole box. First of all, the body wash was so creamy and felt so luxe. The scent was really nice but not overwhelming and it was a very clean rinse. differing from the usual scrubbing of people’s shower gels. So I used that all over and WOW my legs are so soft. All parts of my body are so soft! This makes me so so happy! I’m definitely ordering full-sizes!
