The craziest thing happened to me the other day. I was looking through all my concert merch, and yes I do have over 60+ concert/celebrity t-shirts, and it’s crazy because I totally just noticed that 3 of my favorites are all from rap concerts. It’s interesting because at the ScHoolboy Q concert they only had like one or two shirts and then CDs and that was it, at the Felly concert they had 3 shirts and that was it, and things were pretty scarce at the A$AP Rocky concert as well. So not as many options…However, these shirts are like so much cooler than some of the basic merch out there! Like do you know how boring it is to have 45 black shirts that are almost exactly the same, just with a different image on the front? It’s strange. So I was looking through all of those and yeah they’re pretty cool, but honestly, I love these two long sleeve rap shirts with this tie-dye A$AP shirt. They’re like my favorite pieces of merch. I posted about the Felly concert stuff but didn’t post about ScHoolboy or A$AP, but I’m about to reconcile with that right now.
Let me introduce you to my friend Lucy. Lucy is extremely inspiring…She creates a new empire of thoughts and feelings and desires, and let’s you see all of it so clearly. So one night, after hours with Lucy, I decided to put on makeup and a dress and photoshoot. It was 4 AM when I finished, and now I have the look to share with you.
I have no idea what brand this dress is. It’s something that I found in my closet that’s been there for years, but I’m not quite sure about the origin. It’s interesting though, and perfect for this photoshoot! What I want to put most emphasis on though is my Louboutin lipstick that I just got! It’s worn as a necklace in this look and is also on my lips.
Hey guys! I know it’s been a little bit since I’ve posted last, and I’ve been trying to decide what I should post next. I have a few ideas, but it’s been a while since I got new clothing pieces to work with, so mostly I’ve just been bored waiting for my shipments to come in. (I have some exciting stuff coming!) But I thought I would start this new sort of series called Diary of a Shopping Enthusiast, and it’s basically going to be me talking all about what I’ve been wanting to buy, what I’ve recently been buying, and also my super long wishlist of stuff I wish I could someday buy. I love talking all about all of this because shopping really is a hobby to me, like even when I don’t have money it’s bomb to just scroll through Nasty Gal or Sephora for days reading reviews and making plans. So continue reading to see what’s been on my shopping-mind lately!
Hey everyone! So I’ve been trying to figure out if i want to post this outfit. I originally was going to post it on Valentine’s Day (it was my VDay outfit) but then I didn’t, and now I’m not sure what to do because I think some of these pictures turned out cute! So I decided I know exactly how to format it. Back in last July, I did a photoshoot with a new romper I got, and I loved it. However, I wore the same romper again for VDay, so I thought I’d do a little comparison between the two. It’s like…Half a year of a difference.
I gotta say, right off the bat I’m going to say my hair is way better in this shoot. No more awkward baby hairs and rooky extensions, I chopped my hair and now it is what it is. I always thought that cutting my hair shoulder was like declaring defeat, but it’s not at all! Sure I REALLY miss my long hair, but most of it fell out and my head is barely starting to re-flourish, so I mean what else can I do? Just gotta wait until it grows out. In the meantime, I’m liking the short ‘do for a while!
So, here’s the question…What do you think I’ve improved on from then to now? Or which style do you prefer? What was your favorite part of each of these? What are some really noticeable differences that either seemed significant or cool in some way? Always feel free to comment here, or e-mail me at email@example.com!
Yay! Another day! I’m alive, I’m living, I’m learning, I’m loving, I’m listening. You know when I first started this blog it was mostly about shopping for fashion. Now it’s like…not only shopping for fashion, but taking things I already have and creating new outfits, fashion…It doesn’t have to be a bunch of new stuff I bought on a shopping spree. I have so many beautiful clothing items to work with! So, I asked Ally to give me a topic and from that I was going to build and interpret my own outfit. This is what she said:
“…Something cozy, but cute and unique. Something that would keep you comfortable and snugly, and yet if it could speak, it would scream.”
So this is what I came up with!! Tell me what you think, did I nail the idea or was I so far off? Also, if you ever want to give me an idea or topic or theme etc for me to make into an outfit, then PLEASE feel free to comment it or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I love doing this… It’s so fun! I call this photoshoot “Scamp” because I was watching an episode of Adventure Time called Scamps and it was really cute and I thought it was a cute random name.
Hey everyone, how are you all doing this time? Today I have a late-winded post that I should’ve written a few days ago, but I’m here now with it and it’s still such a good concept for me. So on Saturday I went to see Felly again, this being my second time seeing him live! Definitely my favorite rap artist, or one of them for sure, and I saw him on his last tour and this concert was just as bomb. So I took pictures of my outfit that I wore to the concert, this cool short dress of mine, and then also took some quick pics of me wearing the shirt I got from the concert the day after it happened. Love both of these shoots with all my heart! I love doing the #ConcertAttire thing, always seeing how I style myself to different shows & all, and it’s such a good pairing with the merchandise in terms of artistic value (or quality of such). I think I do pretty well for myself with shoots like these, I’ve got a whole lot of concerts behind me and there’s always more to go to, so I’ll just try to not forget to shoot the concert outfits I wear. The next-day photoshoot merchandise sure works with it! Love this combination, works every time.
The photoshoots are called “Cella” (after the first song I’ve ever heard by Felly) and also “Young Fel” (the name of his newest EP, which is on the back of the long sleeved shirt). Read more to check out the collages! Love dressing up for concerts these days, I never fail to get a good outfit in there.
Good morning/night to you all! Today I have an outfit that I think is pretty great…Last month I chopped some of my hair off and this is my first shoot with the shorter hair, and I think it looks bomb. But anyway, this awesome sweater is from Bardot & I got it from Nasty Gal, I thought it was the cutest thing for this weather! Continue reading to check out the outfit.
