Happy happy love day everyone! Today I wore a fairly festive outfit, and I’m here to share it with you. Then I’ll let you know about my Valentine’s plans and my upcoming shopping ideas.
Here’s a little peak at the outfit!
Shoes: 5 inch booties from Abbey Dawn
Leggings: Black lace side leggings from Boohoo
Bra Set: Sexy Tee Front-Close Push-Up Bra from Victoria’s Secret
Crop Top: “L.S.I.” brand? Not even sure what that is. I got it from my stepmom!
Jacket: Uh “Kathy Che Stretch” brand or something? Never heard of that either. Lol, also got this from my stepmom!
Necklaces: One is a two layer gold Betsey Johnson and the other is a ribbon choker made by my stepmom (Boss Kty)
Face: Lipstick is Ruby Woo by MAC, lashes are Siren by House of Lashes, and highlight is Champagne Pop from Jaclyn Hill x Becca Cosmetics. (Hair bow was custom made)
I struggled a lot with picking a Valentine’s Day outfit, ideally I wanted to wear a dress of some sort but I had nothing that really seemed to fit the Valentine’s Day spirit. I like that I incorporated the red with the pink jacket thing, since I can never decide on which festive color to focus on.
I’m really in love with my highlight. Ruby Woo is always a classically great lipstick and I love the way it ties in with the Champagne Pop highlight, I find it great for the holiday.
And now for the comparisons. I’m going to show you Valentine’s Day 2014, Valentine’s Day 2015 and today, because I love to compare.
Honestly, to me it’s like, if you combine this 2014 picture with the 2015 one you get the 2016 one. I really haven’t changed much, although I like to think I’ve matured and have a bit better of style and makeup skill. What do you think?
I don’t really remember what I did for V-Day 2014 but I don’t think I did much. For V-Day 2015 I was reunited with my ex – I only saw her for maybe a half an hour at most even though I drove 45 minutes there and back to get there, but it was fun I guess. Turns out she’s pretty… hard to be around/demanding/confusing etc, but that’s irrelevant. I did get her this pretty rose though.
I was glad to have someone to spend the day with. Today I have nobody to spend the day with – for the past couple of months I thought I’d be spending this day with my now ex, and I did consider putting a rose on her porch today but, honestly I shouldn’t bother. So I’m focusing on myself and my family, and of course my outfits and my organizing. It’s actually a pretty good day. How has your Valentine’s Day been going? I just want all of you to know that I love you! Thank you for reading! Have a fun holiday!
