So this month I’ve been trying to be more creative with my posts, and it’s definitely something that I care about a ton so I’ve really been working hard!

I have 3 looks to share with you guys, all pretty casual and random. I love the way I’ve been experimenting with my camera and my editing so some of that will be incorporated. Read more to see the looks! Scarcity.jpg

Let’s start off with Tenacity, which is actually the first shoot from this trio. This was an experimental and pretty informal photoshoot.

Focal points: new Nasty Gal fishnets and Simplicity muscle tank. All tied together with my MAC Saint Germain lipstick.

Why I like it: because I believe it to be pretty raw. Progress was soaring as I realized I can get to know my roots and have a striped down show. Now for number two of this post, a photoshoot called Where The Party Is At and basically all I did with this look is show off a beautiful new lip tar I finally got.

So yeah not much to those selfies, however, if you’re curious my shirt is a shirt from walmart that I cut myself. Glasses are from Gwen Stefani’s LAMB line. And of course, the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Lily!

Why I Love It: Sometimes my facial expressions are super weird and sometimes it’s a nice picture but it just makes me happy to share with the world, my art. As simple as it may be.

Let me introduce you to “Very Important Progress“. This photoshoot was brief but it was the catalyst to creating a new blog post, hence why that’s also the name of this post. I just wanna say there’s a lot of insecurities that I’ve become able to set aside for a bit and just feel myself as…beautiful.

Focal Point: Crochet top from Nasty Gal, which I accented with a couple necklaces. That’s basically it, this outfit/shoot was really really raw and I think the only thing on my face is an Anastasia Beverly Hills peach highlighter.

What started with Original Gangstress  (my very first blog post) has now become Very Important Progress. I always love growing and building the Shop For Days community, and I’ve had a rollercoaster of a ride through these last couple of years and thank you for all your love and support!

It’s so important to do what’s better for you. When it comes to your passion and what makes you feel alive, you should do what’s best for you and not shell it all out for some people you’re trying to be polite to. Screw that!
