These days I’ve been pretty happy about where I’m at. I always love when I feel like I’m doing better in a bunch of different aspects, I love making so much progress in my life! I feel like I’ve been always getting better with myself and my personal progress, like with how I’m doing with everything all the time, but in also the things that I do with my time & efforts like blogging & living my life of course too. I love that blogging can also reflect that progress of mine in a few different ways, like making progress on how my photoshoots turn out but how that also expresses a degree of how I’m doing emotionally and creatively with myself (and my blog & everything) and I really appreciate making that sort of progress! I love that I’ve been doing so well and that I’ve been able to really reflect all of this energy on my blog even better this year than I was doing just last year, with the rapid pace I’ve been keeping up with with all of it, too. I started blogging again regularly a couple years ago basically and I’ve been ramping up and doing better with everything since then. It’s crazy to see that evolution with me, even just in conjunction with like, how long my hair has been growing since then + putting in as much of my time & energy into blogging as I have been, and really seeing how much better I can do as I go with it consistently! Since last year though I’ve done even better than two years ago, which is when I started doing the two-blog-posts a month thing all the time, instead of one a month like the year before. That ended up being perfect for me, so I’ve kept up with blogging at that pace pretty much this year as well! I can’t believe it’s already halfway through the year now, I love everything I’ve done this year so far so much! I also can’t believe it’s been basically a year since I did a shoot for one of my fave (signature) pictures I’ve taken of myself in a pretty long time, Hackney, that was awesome for me too! I as always have had that picture as my lock-screen on my phone, since. It’s such a good one. I love fading from the red hair to blonde hair but still always going back to the red all the time, that’s awesome! I love how that looks on me and I love cycling through the different looks all the time, too. This photoshoot is my last blonde one for a second, but it turned out really awesome and I love it so much. I also have been keeping up a bunch on shooting all of my dresses & everything this year, always accomplishing as much as I can to get as much of my wardrobe shot in all of my different photoshoots with outfits from all of my clothes all of these years! For this one, I picked this dress I got when I was like 15 or 16 online from Boohoo, which is this really cute bandage/bodycon type style of a black dress and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to finally shoot it! That’s so crazy to me, but I finally got to shoot this cute dress with a MAC lipstick of mine I’ve had for so long but hadn’t shot yet, either, called Velvet Teddy. It’s a pretty good combo, I love when all of my things come together like this & work together in the way that they do. I love going through everything I have & crossing things off my list & finally getting around to shooting everything that I haven’t yet! It’s cool that I’ve been getting to do so much of that so consistently, finally. I have been getting so much of that done lately!

So this look & photoshoot are called Basically. which I thought was pretty cool, because this dress to me works so well by itself & with the pumps I paired it with, plus I love using words like ‘basically’ sometimes because I think it works for me pretty well! I thought it was kind of simple (of a title) but worked well for this look, which was kind of something I liked about some of the photoshoot as well. I also love it when some of my outfits & shoots end up varying as much as mine have lately, with like all of them having different themes to them and everything, making them look so unique to their concepts & whatever! I like it when I get it right like that, like making a photoshoot have it’s general theme or idea that ends up being so different than one of my other ones, which is really cool (even if they had something in common!). I’m getting better at doing things like that, like this whole year I’ve been doing so good with all of my photoshoots and outfits and ideas and they keep turning out pretty well! I’m glad I’m good with ideas & concepts and relating them when I’m working on a photoshoot and/or blog post. I really appreciate this year so far and how good I’ve been doing with everything and I’m proud of where I’m at with everything! I’m glad I’ve been doing so well with blogging these days too. I can’t wait to keep doing cool things this year & to see where that’s going to get me (next)!
This photoshoot in particular turned out pretty good this time. I like how this dress looks on me too, it’s a pretty cute one! I was able to do at least 4 of these collages, too, in this corner of my room. I love doing photoshoots in that part of my room, I usually do it around that area but I also did some by my magazine rack this time, too, so more like that angle in my room. I ended up wearing this outfit to an INZO concert with my friend Kwame, too. Check out my Concert Almanac page where I keep track of every concert I go to as well, that one was number 89 for me. Keep scrolling for the first collage, next!

Outfit Details for my ‘Basically.’ Photoshoot:
- Black bandage/bodycon dress that I got when I was like 15 or 16 from Boohoo online, but I’m like 24 by now! I can’t believe I’ve had this dress for that long but I really love this one too, it’s a good one.
- Studded black pumps that I got when I was like 16 or 17 from Forever 21 at the store. These are pretty cute pumps too, I first wore them in my 2017 post Scamp! as well which was pretty rad back then.
- Gold pearl & crystal necklace with matching dangly/post earrings that I love. I think I got these from my mom probably, back in like 2021 when she gave me a bunch of jewelry. I love this set so much too!
- Red heart/gold key gold necklace that my dad originally gave me back in 2018, but it broke a couple years ago so we finally fixed it & put it on a new chain last month! I’m glad to have it back finally.
- Crochet cream colored choker that I think my stepmom made for me a few years back. This is a cute choker that I wear with gold sometimes, and I love it. It usually looks pretty good with gold too.
- Two gold mis-matched stud earrings that I got from my friend back in, like, 2020 probably. One is a sparkly gold bar that I wear the most, & the other is a gold paved-type circle which is also pretty cool!
- Red, black & gold ‘Love’ key bracelet that my stepmom made for me back in like 2021 with her Bosskty jewelry line, and also a black & gold crescent moon pink stone anklet that we made in like 2022 as well.
- Gold wire pearl rings x2 on my thumb that I sometimes wear, these are cute gold rings! You can see them in some of the pictures, they’re some of my better gold rings sometimes too & I love them.
- Ginny shimmery medium/dark-ish blue nail polish by Julep on my nails, this is a cute blue! I also used some of my Poison Paradise sheer cream colored sparkly nail polish by Sincerely Polish on my nails too.
- Dry Shampoo by the brand Odele that I got from Birchbox in The Dry Shampoo Try-It Kit back in 2021. This was my very last use of this dry shampoo finally, too! It lasted so long for some reason.
- Fantasy eau de parfum 0.5 oz /15 ml perfume by Britney Spears that I have in this mini size right now! I’ve had Fantasy as a perfume since I was like 16, I love it a lot. Check out this perfume blog post.
- GG Marmont small black leather shoulder bag $2,550 by Gucci of course too that I got from my mom last Christmas! It’s pictured all throughout the photoshoot, but especially in the last two collages.

- Urban Decay All Nighter Pollution Protection Setting Spray $34 which is my favorite setting spray of all time, I love it. It’s discontinued now, though, but I have three of them at the moment still!

I love what I’ve been doing these days, I usually have still been going out like every week to either the club or something like that all the time, and then still like a concert at least every month too. I love that I’ve been wearing dresses to those places all the time these days, too! I really upped my style again these days and I’m really glad I’ve been able to keep up with that all the time, too. I also wear false lashes every day now too, which has been awesome to do. I still go to meetings sometimes and stuff, too, NA, but I like going out to the club and everything more of course. I’m glad that I’ve been able to go through my dresses and stuff as much as I have been too, I have so many cool ones and eventually I want to get a new one and stuff too, as soon as I can. That would be awesome, but for now I love that I have so many that I’ve had for so long and that I’ve been finally getting so many of my older clothes into photoshoots. This dress & photoshoot looked really good with my black Gucci purse, too! I love wearing all my gold jewelry all the time these days too still, I’ve had all of it in since March & will probably keep it in for longer, of course. Keep scrolling for the last collage & paragraph!

Thanks for checking me out, that’s the last collage! I love how a few of those last pictures turned out, like the third-to-last and the last one, those are pretty cute ones. I kind of got my purse in pretty much all of those pictures, too, I love how that looked. I love that purse so much, it’s basically my favorite purse that I’ve ever had these days! I love Gucci, that’s my favorite high fashion brand ever, and it always has been since I was like 17 or earlier than that probably, but I love that I got this purse last year from my mom. That’s pretty much it for the whole post though, I loved doing this post so much and I’m excited to see how the rest of this month will go & the rest of the summer months, as well. I’m excited for the new season and everything, that will be awesome. I’ll keep continuing to go out and do things and I’ll keep getting better with every area of my life, too, like I have been doing. That will all be awesome, see all of you later & thanks again for reading this! I love my life these days.
