I’ve been pretty glad about how things have been going with me around here, everything is a little better than I was expecting it to be by now. Like sometime last year I kept wondering about how I pass my time and hoping I could speed things up or have more to do with my time, and by now I finally actually do. I’m getting better at folding things around my time to get things done and stay active around my house and room and just getting out the usual amount too which goes pretty well every week. I finally was able to make time to set-up this photoshoot, with a Coca-Cola graphic tee I turned into a crop top that I got for my birthday (from a friend) in November 2020. I got three shirts from him, one which was already like a crop top (Angel Like Me) and the other which I cut like this one (MTV Pt. 1) and they all turned out really great, in terms of how I cut the shirts and did the photoshoots. I love how all of that went, I was able to do the shoots pretty quickly in 2021 for those two but it took me until now to finally get this one done! It all is looking pretty good though, I think I’m aligning this year really well with my outfit choices. Plus, four of the main things that I wore in this photoshoot are things I haven’t done a shoot with yet, so I was sort of getting a lot done with putting them altogether like that! The fact that they all worked well together like that was a good sign to me, I really wanted to get these things up on my blog eventually. I have this list I go by sometimes of all these items I bought and still haven’t put in a shoot, and it’s up in my room on my whiteboard. I’ve been making progress on it too, especially with how I’m more active on my blog now with photoshooting! At least a couple times a month I’ve been posting since the new year, and I’m pretty good with aligning it all properly. For this one in particular, I like the almost vintage look they’re going for with the Coca-Cola on this soft red t-shirt, and I think the color of these jeans works really well with it. I of course went for gold with this one, which was the first time in a while I’ve done a shoot with gold, and one of my favorites (other than the big gold key from my other friend) is this ‘1998’ necklace I got from MissGuided last year, and I was so excited that it was my year they had in stock! It was almost exactly a year after my order had arrived that I ended up finally getting to shoot and blog about this necklace, but I’m glad I finally am getting it up there today! Lastly, my cheetah sneakers with gold on them are awesome, I got them shipped to me in rehab in like September of 2019 and I loved them there. It took me so long to finally get them into a shoot but I’m so glad about how all of this came together so well this time! It’s even a shoot in a different angle in my room which is rad. Thanks so much for checking out my blog, continue reading to see more of the post!Continue reading
Good afternoon to everyone checking out this blog post whenever you are, I hope your day is going good! I’ve been doing well these days, and I’m really glad I’ve finally picked up my speed with blogging a bit with another post out again. I think everything is going really well for this year, and I’m glad I’m finishing February up with this particular post, I think the photoshoot and everything turned out really great for it. For this blog post, I was able to get the shoot done yesterday and now I’m writing it today, so that’s great time to be getting it up already. For the photoshoot, I decided to shoot this cute Tokyo shirt that I got with my boyfriend from Goodwill some amount of months ago, and the tag it has on it says it’s from Forever21 actually. I think it’s an awesome long-sleeve shirt of mine, also technically a crop-top, and I’m so excited that I found it there and finally got the shoot done for it! It’s yet another one I ended up doing around my room, but I like the angles and shots I got a lot so it really works here as well. Soon enough I’ll get out and do another photoshoot with Matt again, like a few we did last year, but I’m not entirely sure when. I just like what I’ve been getting done around here, I’m pretty proud of everything in the last couple of months. I’m excited for it to finally be spring next month though! I’ve had a good winter and everything, and a good start to my new year and everything. With the momentum I’ve had going on so far this year, I’m excited to see how things will further unfold as I go, because everything’s looking like it’s heading in a good direction so far with all of the context clues and everything. I love the outfits I wear on a typical day sometimes too, so that’s something that will help me with some photoshoots later on and all. I’m pretty glad about how I’ve been doing with that too, getting out of the house and everything enough with it! Now let’s checkout this new shoot I was working on next.Continue reading
I really have always loved music with all my heart, and I love getting to apply that to my life and express that love. Since like 2007 I’ve been going to concerts and all that, and I used to do a lot of YouTube-ing, talking a lot with people about different artists and celebrities, editing pictures and videos of them. That’s something that I always loved doing growing up, and then I was like in my early adult years (and a couple years before that) going to concerts all the time and collecting merchandise and CDs. I really have a lot to show for my love of music, and I love getting to blog about my concert experiences. This post is about my Louis the Child concert experience, which was like my #64th that I’ve been to. So this has been a big part of my life, concertgoing, and even though I went like a year without attending a show recently I’ve finally been catching up and seeing some this year again. I was front row at this show with my boyfriend Matt, we got there right as the doors opened! The venue filled up a lot after we were stationed in the front, and it was a really cool crowd. Matt first introduced me to Louis the Child in like 2018 actually, with Save Me From Myself. Their new album is really good too, they played my favorite track off of it, Fade Away. So I did what I used to do all the time for concerts and did a photoshoot of my #ConcertAttire, and also an outfit/shoot for the merch shirt that I got from the show. This turned out pretty good, I liked it. We even got a few shots in Seattle but not too much because this was a long show! I’m glad about where I’m at, like I probably mentioned a few times in my last blog post, but these concerts this year really helped to both relax me and hype me about my life and I really see what going to all these does for me. I love expression and energy and all that and I get to express a lot of that with going to shows all the time. Read more to see the photoshoots!
The Koko Kollection! I wish I shot more with this collection, and I actually still might. But for now here’s the random days where I wore something from the Koko Kollection, it took 8 days but HOW COOL IS THIS COLLECTION It’s from Kylie Cosmetics. First there was the original quartet of lippies with 3 matte liquid lips and one gloss, and then they released a palette and another 3 matte lippies and another lipgloss. My favorite from this whole collection has got to be Okurrr, even though the name is dumb af. I also really love Doll, Damn Gina and Gorg! Like half the days I also used the Koko face palette with the lip. By the way – on Khloe Kardashian’s birthday they were giving away the first 4 Koko lips for free if you bought something from the Koko Kollection, but the entire Koko Kollection was also on sale so for all of this (8 lippies & a face palette) I only paid $64! And got the ENTIRE collection.
I’ve got that fire in my soul.
Aww so here in Seattle we had a few really good sunny days, and I was able to kind of shoot outside! It was totally test-lighting though, with lots of different settings on my camera. But the best part of this is my Mirina Collections famous necklace, and it’s called Abby! (which is also my name). This was such a fun shoot, kind of more artsy than the others. I want better scenery pictures. But here we go, here’s me myself & i, Abby wearing an Abby necklace!
This is definitely more of an artsy-experimental shoot, rather than fashion. I should’ve shown off this dazzling necklace better!
Have you ever had a day where you just woke up and decided “Hey, I want to glow like crazy today”? Because I have. One day I woke up and decided I wanted to glow like all the trendsetters online with the glow kits here and the highlighters everywhere, and that was the same day I happened to finally get to Sephora to pick up the Nicole Guerriero collaboration palette/glow kit with Anastasia Beverly Hills! I gotta say, out of all the highlighter palettes I’ve seen, this one was definitely always my favorite. So I’m glad I finally picked it up! Anyway, so here I was another day where I woke up and decided hey, I want to glow today, and I totally could because I had this holy grail glow kit. So what did I do? I used a luminous facial peel, put foundation & all that on my face, and then GLOWED. I glowed myself up hard. Nothing on my face except the foundation and then the layer of glowing, which I totally layered on hard. I’m so excited to show you guys! So here’s my creation…Glow day game face.
Hey y’all! So lately I’ve been thinking. If you know me at all you know I LOVE lip products, especially liquid lipstick, and when I first started getting into them I didn’t see much of a difference between formulas but now I have 30+ liquid lipsticks including 14 different formula/brands, so I really wanted to show you all my top favorites and also just swatches of all the brands I have with as clear of a description on the formula that I can give. So let’s get into it, started with my very favorite brand!
Good evening everyone! Yesterday I got this month’s Glam Bag from Ipsy and I was pleasantly surprised with the products I got. I’ve really trying to be blogging more often these days so I thought I should show you everything I got in my September Glam Bag and share my opinions. Today I used all of the products in one look which I’ll show you; at first glance I was most happy about the Tartiest mascara because I’ve tried it before and absolutely love it, but everything else was really new to me. Let’s get into it! Don’t forget to subscribe for yourself, click here!
