Happy new year everyone, I’m finally getting around to writing this blog post! I was waiting for my two newest tattoos to heal, I got them done during the first week of January (for a Christmas present). They turned out awesome, they’re included in some of the pictures of this photoshoot. My year is going amazing so far! I’m so excited about everything and I’m happy I’m finally getting around to blogging again, after that short break. I’ll probably definitely still post twice this month though, because that would be awesome. This photoshoot I did with a sequin sparkly black dress that I have that I totally love. The photoshoot turned out pretty great! I chose bright pink lipstick to go with it, and I think this was the perfect look to finally start off my new year. Definitely check out the new tatts throughout the photoshoot! In the picture below you can see my star on the inside of my right wrist and it looks rad. I also got a heart on my left middle finger that I love with all my heart as well. They’re both pretty amazing and I loved how everything turned out for this look. Everything in my life is doing pretty good and I love where I’m at also, too. I think everything is finally getting back to a better start. I’m grateful for everything. Let’s get more into it, read more to see the rest of it too!

Hey guys, it’s finally time for this outfit I put together from one of my other birthday presents from last month. It’s totally my new gold Gucci belt that I got from my mom for my 24th birthday! I put together this cool gold outfit with it to finally do my post for it before the year is over. I included my signed Felly shirt that I got from meeting him at his concert in Seattle in February, which was so awesome! I only got two shirts from concerts this year since I have so many, but I’m glad I was finally able to get this one into this photoshoot before the year was over! This shirt is signed in (my) black Sharpie on the back of the shirt (in this white circle on the back). I also wore my big gold boots and these leather pants that I have from Nasty Gal from way back in the day, and some other merch hat as well. I loved this look, it was a pretty good one! I wear gold sometimes and it rocks, and I love how I put this look together, I think it’s perfect with all that there is there together. The makeup look was a pretty good one, too, I love how that’s turning out. I named this photoshoot after a song Felly did on his recent album, Young Fel 2, called ‘Pot of Gold’ which is on one of my playlists I haven’t mentioned much before, that I started mid last year, called Untitled. It’s a pretty good song! I of course named the blog post Gucci Gold though, which references to a Gucci post I did in 2016 that I’ll mention more later. I also wore my Gucci Guilty Eau perfume with the outfit as well as a Gucci lipstick from back in the day with this look. I love all that I have from the brand! I included 3 Gucci items total I think for this look. Definitely go ahead and read more of this under the picture. Thanks for checking me out!

Good afternoon to everyone checking out this blog post whenever you are, I hope your day is going good! I’ve been doing well these days, and I’m really glad I’ve finally picked up my speed with blogging a bit with another post out again. I think everything is going really well for this year, and I’m glad I’m finishing February up with this particular post, I think the photoshoot and everything turned out really great for it. For this blog post, I was able to get the shoot done yesterday and now I’m writing it today, so that’s great time to be getting it up already. For the photoshoot, I decided to shoot this cute Tokyo shirt that I got with my boyfriend from Goodwill some amount of months ago, and the tag it has on it says it’s from Forever21 actually. I think it’s an awesome long-sleeve shirt of mine, also technically a crop-top, and I’m so excited that I found it there and finally got the shoot done for it! It’s yet another one I ended up doing around my room, but I like the angles and shots I got a lot so it really works here as well. Soon enough I’ll get out and do another photoshoot with Matt again, like a few we did last year, but I’m not entirely sure when. I just like what I’ve been getting done around here, I’m pretty proud of everything in the last couple of months. I’m excited for it to finally be spring next month though! I’ve had a good winter and everything, and a good start to my new year and everything. With the momentum I’ve had going on so far this year, I’m excited to see how things will further unfold as I go, because everything’s looking like it’s heading in a good direction so far with all of the context clues and everything. I love the outfits I wear on a typical day sometimes too, so that’s something that will help me with some photoshoots later on and all. I’m pretty glad about how I’ve been doing with that too, getting out of the house and everything enough with it! Now let’s checkout this new shoot I was working on next.

A good way to celebrate Valentine’s Day of 2022 is with a good outfit and photoshoot! I’m excited about this one, it turned out really good. I have the red hair going with this red skirt that I’ve wanted to shoot for such a long time, and I finally got around to it! These pink earrings are very similar to these red ones I used to have in 2018, in like this blog post with the leather dress, but they’re of course light pink instead of the red. I think the look turned out really perfect this year, I’m glad to do another holiday post finally. I wore this outfit to go hangout with my boyfriend on Monday, and we went out to dinner and everything. I’m glad I got to see him this day, it worked out pretty well! This year is going pretty well for me so far, I like how my shoots have been turning out and everything. Still most of my photoshoots will be in this same room but I keep finding really good angles for it this time around, and I’m pretty proud of how it has all turned out. I also really think my makeup turned out well for this photoshoot as well, I love my eyes in it with all my heart. I used Redrum by Jeffree Star Cosmetics for the lipstick, and Pillar Box Red by Butter London on my nails with a shimmer top coat (Desiree) from Julep over top of it. So pretty much red everything with the pink earrings and these nude pumps. I even put on my fluffy coat I got from my friend at the end and got some pictures of my outfit in that, which turned out pretty good. This is just a festive shoot I did next to my magazine rack and I love how it turned out. It’s been a while since I’ve got any pictures in pumps, too, like so many years, but I finally put on a pair of them for another shoot this time around! I have so many shoes in my closet that I need to wear more for photoshoots, but I do pretty well with alternating through them and getting different pairs in my shoots and posts throughout each year so I’m proud of how I’ve been doing with that. Hopefully I can keep up with that consistency as I go, I really like how things turn out with keeping things like that. I should never over-shoot any piece of clothing again, but I’m getting good at being aware of that so I’ll just keep going. Thanks so much for checking out this blog post and my blog, continue reading to see some more!

Butterfly Tattoo

This month was a good one to wrap up the year of 2021 for me. I’m really glad of how I’ve been making progress, especially with my sobriety overall from the last year, but I’m even more excited to start a new year after this one. I have a lot of ideas for photoshoots and outfit ideas for the next year of photoshoots, so that’ll be good for myself to keep persisting and growing creatively. What is significant for this month to end the year also is that I ended up getting this red butterfly tattoo in the beginning of the month, as a birthday present from my dad. My birthday was on the 15th of last month, and I can’t believe I finally got this tattoo! It’s only my second tattoo, but I have both of them on the same arm. I got a bunch of good pictures of the tattoo in this few-shades of red outfit that I put together, and I think this was perfect to wrap up all of this year’s photoshoots as a timeline. I’ve got a lot to look forward to, but it’s all just one day at a time stuff that I’m slowly progressing with. I don’t really have any big plans or anything like that, but I just do a lot of the same stuff at home everyday and go to the same sorts of meetings every week and other than that, I can’t wait to hype up a bit more and see what more I can do with blogging coming up next year. I’ve at least got my rhythm going this year with posting at least once a month, but we’ll see if I get around to doing any more of that eventually. I’ll just keep pushing on and see where I can get to with everything, it’s just really been over 6 years of blogging that I’ve been writing and I just really love Shop For Days with all my heart. Through this year specifically I really saw myself flourish a bit more creatively after I cut my hair on December 31st, and it had gotten pretty long last year so it was crazy to chop it down to my natural hair color! I then finally went back to red hair in June, but I let that fade all the way out and have yet to go back to red again, so there was a couple months of blonde or so that I ended up loving. Now my hair has definitely grown more than I thought it would but I loved seeing how it looks in the past year of blog shoots. I like it dyed definitely more, even just bleached, but I’ve really evolved after I had to kind of start over my hair last year! That’s craziness, but I really love where I’ve gotten to finally. We’ll see what more I get to working on next month and coming up in 2022, I’m excited to see what else I have to do really. So many things left to do with blogging, I hope I get to better express how I’ve progressed and where I’ve really gotten to in the past year of being mostly 22 and finally 23!

White Christmas

christmas, fashion, holidays, merchandise, Urban Glam, winter

When I was younger, I used to count how many Christmas presents I got each year. Christmas was all about the excitement of what I was getting. I loved my family, we were sweet to each other and were brought together in a humble way, however in addition to that, I appreciated and loved everything I got so much! I didn’t always expect too much, and mostly I just wanted to stress the fact that I was so so so grateful for everything that they did: Spending money on presents, letting Santa set up a big display when I was in to Bratz dolls with the big baby doll with our stockings full and set up next, spending time or thought on what we could even like, or even just getting us anything no matter how stressful or careless the thought was. I’m so grateful! And as the years go on, I get more and more and MORE excited about giving gifts, rather than receiving–Actually, that’s not quite true. I love receiving gifts because it just touches my heart so sweetly knowing someone thought of me even for a second when they saw something or they remembered something I briefly told them or if it’s just something that THEY wanted me to have, it’s all so fun to me. So yes I like to receive because I’m so thankful for all the thought put into things. Even if a gift I got wasn’t really my thing, if someone picked it out thinking maaaybe I might like it based off of what they know of me, then that alone is an incredibly sweet gesture. So, all that being said, this is my 19th Christmas, and I put so so much thought into the gifts I was giving. Usually a Christmas post would be me talking mostly about the gifts I got, which were thoughtful and adorable small but practical things (and not cheap things either, good quality things that will last me ages and that I adore) but that’s the least important part of this post. I want to tell you guys all about my experiences buying gifts for my family and Danon and whoever else I could, telling you the excitement of how I had things planned and sorted through ideas until I finally picked out specific things for everyone that I thought they would love. Not only that, but I tried to throw a little Abby-twist in there, because it’s cool to recieve gifts that you love that you normally wouldn’t even know to pick out, but I swear my mom is SOO excited about her gift and she wouldn’t ever have known to buy it for herself! I did some little things, I did some thoughtful things, and I want to get better at gift giving because it seriously is so fun to me…I think I’m like, already old enough to handle Christmas as a giver rather than playing the role as the main reciever, so maybe one day soon that’ll be up to me, in one way or another. 🙂 So now as I age, I feel more free, more real, and I’m gaining so much strength. So thank god for the power you gave me, and thank god for a White Christmas.

So we’re beginning a whole new year, which is insane because it’s like someone hit me upside the head and I blinked and totally went from 2015 to now. Crazy stuff, but I really want to show y’all a couple things I got for Christmas! A Kendall + Kylie sweater and new short UGGs. On Christmas I put it all on and had this mini shoot, and I was debating on reshooting it in a cleaner crisper better way but honestly I’m just gonna show y’all what I have and then prepare for this year and plan some new shoots… This year is going to be really good, I can just feel it. Anyway, this is my “Post-Krismas” photoshoot.

So here’s my little mini shoot to start off this new year. 2017 = the year of Abby. It’s decided.

Hey guys! Big review today. So I ordered from Kora Organics (again! I love them!!) when they very first released their limited edition body washes (I ordered like 12 hours after they went for sale, kind of sad about that though because now they’re giving away a free mist with every $60+ order for 48 hours and that’ll be way past done by the time I can do another order lol) and I got not only the Energising Body Wash (500ml, $59.95) but I also got the Recovery Eye Gel Cream (10 ml, $59) and they sent me a surprising and amazing amount of samples! Originally in my cart it showed 3 satchets total but they sent me a lot and on my packing form it lists all of them as well. I can’t wait to review them all for you! By the time this post is published I will have had time to try each product out (using a controlled experiment and making sure to not use two new products at the same time because I really want to know what each product does on its own) so these reviews should be helpful, or at least that’s what I’m shooting for! Here’s the full order.kora - cherry 029.JPG

Hey every person reading! I got a few random things this week that I thought I’d do a quick post about.

I got a new candle from Bath & Body Works while they were having the 50% off sale, I’ve needed more winter candles. I also got 4 CDs from Half Price Books because I had a $5 off coupon so I thought I’d share those with you!

How are you all today? I’m going to talk about a simple red shirt I got from my Stepmom; she thrifts and has friends that give her clothes and things so she always has some really cool pieces to give me. I’ve been wanting to start blogging about all this, I usually just forget! So let’s write a quick post about this shirt and how I styled it.
