A month ago, I was sooo on a roll with blog posts. November was awesome for me and my blog and I was not only posting frequently, but thoroughly, and quality-ily. Quailityishful. So anyway then December everything started getting busy and crazy, however I FINALLY got around to editing these two shoots that I did (there was like a trillion pics to edit) and so now I can totally actually begin this journey that is Culture Shock, which is a half-formed idea in my head that’s about to florish. It’s derived of two equal parts, My Prerogative and Can’t Pin Me Down. Let’s see how I grow, live, create, slay and laugh at myself. After finishing this I’m actually extremely proud, and expression is best served passionately.

I feel like each of these Diary things is really different. Don’t be fooled by their names though, even though they’re all “Diary of ___” something different, they’re all basically the same thing. Journal entries in the form of blogging, pictures, online shopping and interacting with people online. Today I wanted to not only have a “diary” entry for the “DarkkVixen” that I am (that’s basically an inside (joke) thing I’ll explain it further down) but I wanted to show an unseen photoshoot with you guys that I’m actually really proud of, and it symbolizes a lot. Originally I used it on my other blog (just like one of the pictures) and I thought that represented a lot so I didn’t think to post the look here, especially because there’s no “shopping” really involved in it, but I do want to show you guys. I have so many looks, so many ideas, so much drive and everyday I get more bloated with inspiration and have to chase these blog goals to relieve it. Lol, for real. So get to know the DarkkVixen inside of me.

This was almost 2 weeks ago but I’m finally getting around to blogging about it! So my friend Syerra and I did this really cool shoot wearing cool things in the middle of the woods, and it was super fun to put together. Finally just edited all the pictures, now I can show you the funny shoot and the awesome outfits we put together. We totally gotta do a sequel to this. My hair actually looked kind of cute! This is before I got it cut and I’m still getting used to my haircut. Now this is what I call Urban Glam.

So I went to the Tacoma (Seattle) show at the Tacoma Dome like the 5th of this month and it was INSANELY amazing!! I don’t know why I’ve procrastinated so much with finally getting this post up but I think it’s because I really wanted to make it thorough and so I needed a fat chunk of time to get the shit together. So yes, I finally saw Lady Gaga. It was one of the most amazing concert experiences I’ve EVER went to. It’s in my top 3, out of 44 concerts! So here, let’s post about this concert plus the outfit I wore to it and the merch shirt I got from it!

I am addicted to the song Bacon by Nick Jonas! So obsessed. That’s why I named this photoshoot Bacon. Dumb name for a photoshoot but that’s what the song is called, lol and I think the song fits the shoot pretty well. I’m in love with this song and the lyrics! I had such a super fun shoot and I can’t wait to get into it finally.

Last weekend, I wore something pretty interesting. Honestly, the outfit was…just so Abby. It was so completely in tune with me, and that’s not a bad or good thing. It was a strange outfit and I’m still not even sure if I was able to pull it off, but it’s definitely something that I would wear & it definitely spoke volumes. There were some little pieces to this look that were really annoying, but mostly it was a super fun outfit & I’m glad I wore it. I only got a few pictures, but I thought I’d show them anyway.

Good morning! I know I haven’t been blogging as much lately, and that’s because my life has been HECTIC. Not going too much into my personal life but there was a breakup and blah blah, so I haven’t felt as inspired as I typically used to be. But hey! I did a photoshoot last week (in collaboration with Seattle Talent) where I got some new headshots done but we also did 3 modeling shoots. It was so fun! I walked around Seattle in like 6in chunky heels for like 5 miles, but it was so fun. I can’t wait to see the pictures next week. BUT! I should show y’all the last shoot I did before I lost inspiration.

I got this dress on sale from Nasty Gal and it is most definitely in my top 5 favorite dresses list! This and a blue one (you’ll see that next week) I got last month and I’m so in love with them. This shoot is kinda different because my makeup was a MESS, I went through a whole day and then just slapped on another lipstick over the mess and it was a pretty messy makeup look, but who cares? I’ve got that fire in my soul.

Aww so here in Seattle we had a few really good sunny days, and I was able to kind of shoot outside! It was totally test-lighting though, with lots of different settings on my camera. But the best part of this is my Mirina Collections famous necklace, and it’s called Abby! (which is also my name). This was such a fun shoot, kind of more artsy than the others. I want better scenery pictures. But here we go, here’s me myself & i, Abby wearing an Abby necklace!

This is definitely more of an artsy-experimental shoot, rather than fashion. I should’ve shown off this dazzling necklace better!

Glow Day

Have you ever had a day where you just woke up and decided “Hey, I want to glow like crazy today”? Because I have. One day I woke up and decided I wanted to glow like all the trendsetters online with the glow kits here and the highlighters everywhere, and that was the same day I happened to finally get to Sephora to pick up the Nicole Guerriero collaboration palette/glow kit with Anastasia Beverly Hills! I gotta say, out of all the highlighter palettes I’ve seen, this one was definitely always my favorite. So I’m glad I finally picked it up! Anyway, so here I was another day where I woke up and decided hey, I want to glow today, and I totally could because I had this holy grail glow kit. So what did I do? I used a luminous facial peel, put foundation & all that on my face, and then GLOWED. I glowed myself up hard. Nothing on my face except the foundation and then the layer of glowing, which I totally layered on hard. I’m so excited to show you guys! So here’s my creation…Glow day game face.

I wish I could speak easier right now, but right now it’s so hard to try to form a thought or a sentence. It really has been oddly hard to do that these days.
