Fashion is my…favorite thing in the world. My highest passion, my favorite thing to do, my favorite thing to think about (other than Ally), etc…Sometimes I think people forget that. They see me prancing around in my photoshoots and assume I’m some wannabe model, or even a wannabe blogger. Hey guys! I know it’s been a little bit since I’ve posted last, and I’ve been trying to decide what I should post next. I have a few ideas, but it’s been a while since I got new clothing pieces to work with, so mostly I’ve just been bored waiting for my shipments to come in. (I have some exciting stuff coming!) But I thought I would start this new sort of series called Diary of a Shopping Enthusiast, and it’s basically going to be me talking all about what I’ve been wanting to buy, what I’ve recently been buying, and also my super long wishlist of stuff I wish I could someday buy. I love talking all about all of this because shopping really is a hobby to me, like even when I don’t have money it’s bomb to just scroll through Nasty Gal or Sephora for days reading reviews and making plans. The Teen Vogue Experience

Hey y’all, I finally got the last few pictures from Teen Vogue from the Teen Vogue Experience in New York earlier this month. I want to go in depth on all 4 parts of the event and tell you all what I learned, what I did, and the major impact everything really had on me. There was 4 things: First, the panel Q & A with some Teen Vogue magazine workers from different positions, then group two (including me) went to the studio to get our makeup touched up and then we photoshooted. After that, we had a really cool discussion with Amy Levin, the CEO & founder of collegefashionista.com! And finally, we got a tour of the Teen Vogue closet. SO incredibly cool. Again, this experience was offered to student of the Parsons x Teen Vogue online fashion class, Fashion Industry Essentials. Hey hey. So this is one of two different posts I’m going to be posting about for this trip that I’m honestly really excited about. This weekend I flew from my home (Seattle) to New York City (well…Mostly Manhattan) for a Teen Vogue Experience, which was like the COOLEST thing I’ve ever been to. It was a fashion event. If you’re not familiar with the magazine, a lot of it revolves around fashion, and we got to do so many cool fashion things. The Teen Vogue Experience is an experience that was offered to students of the Parsons x Teen Vogue online fashion class. (which you should totally sign up for, using my code to get $50 off) So they e-mailed us and let us know about this amazing opportunity in New York, taking place at Condé Nast where we could learn all about how to further/begin our careers in the fashion world, as Teen Vogue editors and other employees helped educate us. Everyone was so sweet, so knowledgable, and down to earth; TOTALLY worth flying to New York for. This is 1 of 2 posts, the second post will be all about the Teen Vogue Experience specifically with all the selfies I took and all of the photos their photographer took. (Still waiting on those which is why that’ll be coming later). The day was 6 hours long and consisted of a discussion panel with some awesome Teen Vogue contributors, a photoshoot with a Teen Vogue photographer and makeup artist, a discussion with the one and only Amy Levin (founder & CEO of collegefashionista.com) and finally, a look inside Teen Vogue’s closet! Such amazing things! Anyway, you can learn more about that in a latter post, but for now I’m just going to say that it was super awesome but it wasn’t quite the only thing I did for this trip. Merry Christmas all! I know that last year I had 12 days of Christmas where I literally posted a different festive Christmas post every day for 12 days, and I was really in the spirit back then. I had my mini tree up, I did holiday nails, themes etc…But this year I just really was not feeling it. At all. I mean today is Christmas and I still don’t feel the Christmas spirit. I’m not really sure why. However, despite all that, I still did have a small Christmas, so I thought I would post about it anyway. What a beautiful day, how is everyone? On the 24th I got to go to a Gwen Stefani concert with my mom, it was super incredibly fun. I haven’t been photoshooting as much these days but I did have an idea, I’m going to walk you through my concert attire.

I have this tradition where I get a shirt at every concert and then wear it the next day. So I’m going to show you both what I wore to the concert and the next day outfit. I love Gwen!

Aloha, what a beautiful day! Lately I’ve really been feeling the writing bug and I’ve wanted to write and photoshoot often. I can’t believe what a crazy month that it’s been so far, let alone how crazy of a year it’s been. I haven’t gotten a new shipment of clothes yet so I haven’t really had many outfits to do but I thought I’d post this update to talk all about what I’ve been buying and what I’m wanting to buy!

I got this Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy shirt and I adore it! I adore the show.

I’m so obsessed with this Grim Adventures graphic tee I found online. Boring shorts and boring nails, but really loving that top. Normally I don’t like to wear graphic tees. I’m planning some orders for Nasty Gal. I got a couple cute new shirts on the way that will be her Tuesday. But I need to decide what to buy! I definitely want to order from Nasty Gal, but any suggestions as to what?

Happy Independence Day! Last year I posted about my look but honestly I hate that look now, I’m much more happy with what I wore this year.

I wore the same Juicy Couture flag shirt that I wore last year but I swapped out the red lips and blue liner to blue lips (and glitter!) and white liner. I didn’t take too many pictures focusing on my look but I took a lot of cute ones with my girlfriend!

Hey guys it’s been a while! This is kind of a two-in-one, my outfit for tonight’s concert and also what I got in my order from Nasty Gal (my favorite clothing store!).

I was so excited for this symphony. Seth MacFarlane with Seattle Symphony! I actually really love jazz music and I think that Seth was/is great. I wanted to wear something cute because it’s not often I get to do fun things downtown; although I do think this is the cutest outfit ever, I wasn’t able to have one of my fun little photoshoots for it so all I have are some pictures from my iPhone. I love it.
