This photoshoot & blog post I have put together is inspired by this cute black tank top that I have that says ‘A SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND’ on it! So basically, pretty much every week on Sunday I do my nails because that’s the best time to do it, so this Sunday I ended up picking this cute Essie orange-ish coral-y nail polish named SUNSHINE STATE OF MIND. I’ve been basically going through all my nail polishes & using the ones I haven’t used in a while, and writing down which ones I’ve used for at least over a year & a half now on my laptop & everything. My goal is to go through every single one of them & use them at least once as I go down the list, and I have quite a bit of nail polish overall! I have like, a full rack of them plus a couple sets & a basket & a jewelry case & full of nail polish, but I used to have like maybe a lot more. I picked this Essie to use, finally, because it’s summertime & it seemed like a good coral-y orange color, & since I have a few orange nail polishes I thought I’d do this one in mid-July for this time (so I can do another orange later too). So after picking that Essie nail polish, I remembered I had this tank top, and wanted to wear them together because I thought that would be super perfect! So on Tuesday I wore the tank top, but I also realized I hadn’t even shot this shirt yet so I put together the outfit then wanted to do a photoshoot of it! With the matching nails & the lipstick & everything I thought it would be perfect, so I just had to do this one. This was also a spontaneous photoshoot, kind of, because I wasn’t really planning on doing this one yet this time, but I still made it work really well & thought it would be perfect for July! I even ended up wearing my Natural Desires choker & hoop earrings from Dolls Kill again for this photoshoot, that I got this month, which ended up looking really good again for this outfit as well. Out of everything I had, this was totally the most amazing thing that went with it, so I just had to wear this set again! I used to pick a significant piece of jewelry or whatever & wear it consistently, but I don’t do that as much anymore. But I do really love this new gold choker & it went perfectly with this outfit, as well, & it’s definitely a set I’d wear all the time too since I really love this one. I thought everything went perfectly together for this photoshoot as well, but let’s definitely get more into this shoot, for sure. Keep reading to see the rest of this one!

This year is going really well so far, I’m really excited about everything that is happening in my life. I’m glad the first two months of this new year have been going so well, I’m really grateful for that! It’s finally the year that I’m 24 and I have some really cool things planned/coming up for the rest of the year, so we’ll see how everything goes. Today’s post is going to be really awesome, I have a pretty cool photoshoot to show you. This shoot could have a few different names, and it means something to me. First off, this is Convenience Fee (Part Two) basically, because it relates as much to the first one I did, which was of course named Convenience Fee. That was the post I did the month I first ever started off my major concept playlist of the same name, and got that rolling. That’s significant to me because that’s my favorite playlist I’ve ever done of all time. I did that photoshoot & post the month before I turned 23, as well, and everything has been pretty awesome since then. A lot of why this is a spinoff of that photoshoot is because of the Part Two-like outfit similarities: the original post included a bulky silver 5-lock chain necklace that I love with all my heart, as well as a slightly oversized plain black t-shirt, compared to this sparkly pink lock necklace and long black graphic tee. That’s pretty awesome for the two looks, I love them both and I love how they go together. I was also wearing hot pink (lips) for both, including a really pretty hot pink lipstick in the last post and then a pink Super 8 Lip Oil by Yensa called Pink Shine for this look, which also looked really good with my bright pink eyeshadow (from the Kesha Rose Beauty FTW eyeshadow palette that I got pictures of/with!) that I totally loved with the pink necklace. Hot pink & black looked really good in these two photoshoots. Definitely check out the original post if you haven’t seen that one yet, I linked it earlier in the post! Anyway, I had to name this shoot As Crazy As It Is, to keep furthering my concept category/playlist photoshoot series also called Convenience Fee. There’s currently 232 songs on the playlist and it’s still such an awesome playlist, and I just loved As Crazy As It Is by Zhu as one of them. So that’s definitely a couple things about/that I could refer to this photoshoot as, I love how that turned out. Finally, one more of the things I thought of is that this could just simply be like the t-shirt, ‘The Mix’ – but it’s not. Lol, that’s what the shirt says, I totally love this shirt. It’s from a bar in Tacoma, but I’m pretty sure we found it at Goodwill and then my stepmom gave it to me. That’s all about this post so far though, I of course just named it after the song but wanted to hit upon all of the cool key points that otherwise went with the blog shoot. Let’s get into this otherwise named Convenience Fee Pt. 2 photoshoot next!
Good afternoon to everyone checking out this blog post whenever you are, I hope your day is going good! I’ve been doing well these days, and I’m really glad I’ve finally picked up my speed with blogging a bit with another post out again. I think everything is going really well for this year, and I’m glad I’m finishing February up with this particular post, I think the photoshoot and everything turned out really great for it. For this blog post, I was able to get the shoot done yesterday and now I’m writing it today, so that’s great time to be getting it up already. For the photoshoot, I decided to shoot this cute Tokyo shirt that I got with my boyfriend from Goodwill some amount of months ago, and the tag it has on it says it’s from Forever21 actually. I think it’s an awesome long-sleeve shirt of mine, also technically a crop-top, and I’m so excited that I found it there and finally got the shoot done for it! It’s yet another one I ended up doing around my room, but I like the angles and shots I got a lot so it really works here as well. Soon enough I’ll get out and do another photoshoot with Matt again, like a few we did last year, but I’m not entirely sure when. I just like what I’ve been getting done around here, I’m pretty proud of everything in the last couple of months. I’m excited for it to finally be spring next month though! I’ve had a good winter and everything, and a good start to my new year and everything. With the momentum I’ve had going on so far this year, I’m excited to see how things will further unfold as I go, because everything’s looking like it’s heading in a good direction so far with all of the context clues and everything. I love the outfits I wear on a typical day sometimes too, so that’s something that will help me with some photoshoots later on and all. I’m pretty glad about how I’ve been doing with that too, getting out of the house and everything enough with it! Now let’s checkout this new shoot I was working on next.
A month ago, I was sooo on a roll with blog posts. November was awesome for me and my blog and I was not only posting frequently, but thoroughly, and quality-ily. Quailityishful. So anyway then December everything started getting busy and crazy, however I FINALLY got around to editing these two shoots that I did (there was like a trillion pics to edit) and so now I can totally actually begin this journey that is Culture Shock, which is a half-formed idea in my head that’s about to florish. It’s derived of two equal parts, My Prerogative and Can’t Pin Me Down. Let’s see how I grow, live, create, slay and laugh at myself. After finishing this I’m actually extremely proud, and expression is best served passionately.
The very first time I saw this trend, Kylie Jenner was rocking it. I’ll include that picture. Anyway, at first I thought it was really dumb. Then I realized it was kind of cool…Like wildfire that trend did spread, being interpreted by a million different people in infinite ways. It wasn’t until now, 4 months later, finally got my chance to fw this trend! I got a big bag of used clothing and had my mind set on re-creating this trend in my own way, so I started snip snip snipping away. Got some really controversial results, but the main one is one I call Epic.
I think lately I’ve had some writer’s block in terms of writing. Maybe today it’s just a lack of coffee. I’m gonna go to the gym and get coffee then come back and hopefully I’ll have some words to say. But hey this post is going to be about this cute outfit I created a couple weeks ago, I’m so behind with posting my shoots. I called this Hazey, after the Glass Animals song.
Okay, I’m ready for this. Are you ready for this? Nothing really special about this outfit but it ended up so cute. And warm and cozy. This… is Hazey.
